This coming ski season Mark Warner will be opening the doors of the fantastic Chalet Hotel L’Ecrin. The 56-room, 4-star plus Chalet Hotel located in Tignes Val Claret, the village above Tignes Le Lac is a wonderful addition to Mark Warner’s portfolio.
The high snow-sure resort of Tignes, linked to the Espace Killy ski area and its 300km of pistes is perfect for all levels of snow sports enthusiasts. The Chalet Hotel L’Ecrin is situated on the outskirts of the village only a 100m walk to the five main lifts in Tignes Val Claret.
The Chalet Hotel is built from timber in the traditional Savoie style and oozes charm and luxury inside and out. The interiors are cosy and comfortable with local wood panelling and a large lounge at the heart of the Chalet with inviting sofas around an open fire place.
The restaurant is a perfect setting for skiers to re-group after a day on the slopes with small and large group tables available creating a lively, fun atmosphere.
Twins, doubles, interconnecting and family bedrooms are available all with balconies overlooking the slopes, flat screen TVs and free Wi-Fi access.
After a hard day on the slopes guests can visit the beautiful spa, with four therapy rooms and a range of treatments on offer from massages to manicures. The impressive swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and Turkish bath enable weary skiers to relax and re-energise in a beautiful surrounding.
The Chalet Hotel L’Ecrin will be run to Mark Warner’s high standards, offering the same level of service and range of inclusives that other Chalet Hotels in the portfolio offer. Accommodation is based on chalet board basis, including breakfast, afternoon tea and three course dinner with wine. The childcare programme for children aged between 4 months and 12 years run by Mark Warner’s experienced and qualified British childcare team enables the whole family to have the holiday and break they deserve. Younger children can enjoy the light, colourful crèche packed full of toys and activities, under the caring and watchful eyes of the nannies. Older children who are keen to hit the slopes will be escorted to and from ski school and provided with lunch and tea at the Chalet Hotel. In the evening the childcare team will run a free drop in crèche service from 7.30pm – 11pm.
